Launch: Voices of Peace

While security is often discussed in terms of weapons and budgets, we want to highlight a different kind of courage: the courage to say ‘no’ to the cycles of violence. In our publication, you will discover eight powerful personal stories from Belgium, Greece, Eritrea, Türkiye, Israel, Finland, Russia, and Spain.

At our launch, you will hear about the journey behind creating this publication and listen to stories from conscientious objectors themselves. This project is a collaboration between Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA), Connection e.V., War Resisters’ International (WRI), and Agir Pour la Paix.
